Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg Orthopedics

Job Summary:
Responsibilities and Duties:

- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and pain levels
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and management of orthopedic conditions
- Assist with procedures such as wound care, casting, and splinting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and ensure proper documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education to enhance clinical skills

Qualifications and Skills:

- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg or Orthopedics setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, but not required
