**BENEFITS**

**GENERAL DESCRIPTION**

Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The position may require occasional travel and the ability to work in excess of forty hours per week.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**

Initiates and coordinates cross-functional workgroups composed of internal and external stakeholders to define a grant’s objectives and goals and develop program objectives, work plans, and budgets; coordinates with key stakeholders throughout the project’s life cycle.

Ensures compliance with conditions of grants by coordinating, monitoring and analyzing agreements, contracts, expenses, and activities, as well as federal and state regulations. Coordinates the review and analysis of project costs and prepares budget justifications and budget revisions for awarded grants.

Serves as a liaison between grant funding sources and the agency or community-based programs by attending meetings, responding to information requests, and resolving issues between parties involved. Presents at local and state meetings and conferences to promote grant.

Interprets and assists with developing policies, rules, or regulations; provides guidance to staff and key stakeholders regarding grant administration, compliance, policies, and procedures; and resolves related issues and concerns.

Maintains files and records and prepares reports related to grant activities for grants received.

Performs a variety of related duties not listed to be determined and assigned as needed.

Performs all duties in compliance with agency safety policies and procedures.
- Reports safety hazards and corrects hazards when possible.
- Completes required documentation in the event of an accident/injury within requested time frames.

Regularly attends work in a predictable manner, as scheduled and on an as-needed basis, in accordance with agency attendance and leave policies.

Monitors outcomes for racial, ethnic, and gender disparities and takes action to address identified disparities.

**Qualifications**

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

Bachelor’s degree with course work in public or business administration, criminal justice, social justice, behavioral science, or a related field. Three years of full-time wage earning experience years that may be any combination of the following: experience in research, data analysis, policy development, legislative analysis, technical writing, budget preparation and analysis, project management, providing consultative and technical assistance relating to a juvenile justice, criminal justice, or social services program, or grant preparation, development, evaluation, or monitoring. Completed course hours of graduate study may be substituted for up to two years of experience on a basis of 12 graduate course hours for one year of experience.

**OR**

High school diploma or equivalent. Seven years of full-time wage earning experience years that may be any combination of the following: experience in research, data analysis, policy development, legislative analysis, technical writing, budget preparation and analysis, project management, providing consultative and technical assistance relating to a juvenile justice, criminal justice, or social services program, or grant preparation, development, evaluation, or monitoring. Completed undergraduate course hours may be substituted for up to four years of the required years of experience on a basis of 30 course hours for one year of experience.

Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, criminal justice, social work, behavioral science,

or a related field.
