**Holding House - General Labor 3rd Shift**
Milford, IN

**Job Summary**: The role supports the Holding House Manager by performing duties including barn work, unloading trailers, guiding ducks to processing areas, and ensuring cleanliness and disinfection of the Holding House.

**Essential Duties**:

- Adhere to Duck Well-Being and Care and Handling Guidelines, including annual recertification.
- Handle tasks like unloading ducks, moving them to processing, and washing/disinfecting transport vehicles.
- Report any Holding House irregularities to the Supervisor or Lead.
- Assist the Holding House Manager in maintaining operational efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Perform other related duties as needed.

**Job Specifications**:

- Poultry rearing experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

**Skills And Abilities**:

- Follow safety, well-being, and biosecurity protocols.
- Work effectively with others and communicate well.
- Resolve minor loading/unloading and equipment operation issues.

**Working Climate**: Work in various weather conditions, including weekends. Involves heavy lifting, long periods of walking, and use of chemicals. Personal protection equipment provided with certain items reimbursed after 60 days.
