**About the Job**:
**Urban Services YMCA is seeking an Associate Program Director for youth programs at Starr King Elementary School - 1215 Carolina St, San Francisco, CA 94107**

Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Youth and Teen Development, the Associate Program Director is responsible for daily onsite supervision, program implementation, and youth/staff development at our Starr King Elementary after school and Summer camp programs. This position is responsible for helping to maintain a safe and welcoming after school site; ensuring high level of program quality that will expose youth to various learning opportunities and working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants and their families. The primary responsibility for this role is to create an academic and enrichment-based program that is compliant with our Federal & State Funders and the Youth Development Principles of the YMCA of San Francisco.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have at 2 years of college units or passing score on NCLB exam
- Available Mondays-Fridays (some weekends)
- Must have at least two years of experience working with youth programs in supervisory role
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (may certify upon hire)
- Fingerprint background check clearance
- TB Test clearance

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree with teaching credential or passing score on NCLB exam
- Demonstrate knowledge, familiarity, and experience working in or with schools within SFUSD
- Experience working with ExCEL and DCYF funders
- Bilingual in Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin
