Dispatcher

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to lift 150 lbs. without assistance.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Exemplary management, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.
- Ability to respond to client inquiries, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Demonstrated aptitude for creating project plans and delegating activities through leadership and planned execution.
- Demonstrated experience leading diverse work groups.

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following**:

- Assists with scheduling and dispatching of crews, providing oversight to ensure all necessary labor, materials, and equipment arrive at each job site in a timely manner.
- Receives and maintains communications with crews regarding job status, problems, customer satisfaction, payment, etc.
- Calculates and communicates move charges to crews, processes credit card payments, and relays authorization numbers.
- Ensures that the adequate level of staff is scheduled on the proper days.
- Works directly with the sales manager and other sales staff to maximize scheduling and troubleshoot changing move variables.

**Preferences**:

- Bilingual (Spanish).
- Experience in the household goods (HHG) and/or relocation industry.
- Previous dispatching experience in a service industry.
- Prior successful leadership experience of a minimum of ten people over at least a two-year period.
- A “lead by example” mindset with an always positive outlook.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
