**Medical Collector Responsibilities**:

- Managing and maintaining A/R status for all patient accounts effectively.
- Identifying trends in claim denials and reimbursements within healthcare collections.
- Ensuring the timely processing of appeals to optimize revenue recovery.
- Reconciling discrepancies between charges and payments.
- Delivering superior customer service by responding promptly to queries and follow-ups.
- Utilizing medical coding and modifiers accurately based on physician documentation.

**Medical Collector Qualifications**:

- Brings at least 1+ years of experience in physician medical collections.
- Demonstrates familiarity with Worker's Comp and multi-Specialty ASC accounts.
- Has comprehensive knowledge of various insurances (HMO, PPO, etc.).
- Holds a High school diploma or GED.
- Exhibits the ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment and is detail-oriented with outstanding communication skills.
