**SUMMARY: Bar Lesieur is seeking an experienced Maitre D to run the book of reservations & help promote seamless service during dinner shifts.**

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Guest Reception**:

- Warmly welcome guests as they arrive at the establishment.
- Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable.
- ** Reservation Management**:

- Manage reservation systems, ensuring accurate booking and seating arrangements.
- Confirm reservations and handle any changes or cancellations.
- ** Seating Arrangements**:

- Organize seating arrangements to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Handle special requests and accommodate preferences whenever possible.
- ** Communication**:

- Act as a liaison between guests and restaurant staff.
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff.
- ** Customer Service**:

- Provide attentive and personalized service to all guests.
- Address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- ** Staff Coordination**:

- Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide guidance and support to the front-of-house team.
- ** Maintaining Standards**:

- Ensure that the dining area is clean, organized, and properly set up.
- Uphold the establishment's standards of service and presentation.
- ** Upselling and Promotion**:

- Promote menu items, specials, and promotions to guests.
- Encourage upselling and suggestive selling to enhance the guest experience.
- ** Training and Development**:

- Train new staff members on proper procedures and protocols.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve team performance.
- ** Administrative Tasks**:

- Maintain records of reservations, guest preferences, and feedback.
- Handle billing and payment processing when necessary.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
