**Duties**:

- You will plan, direct assign lead and monitor work of employees.
- You will hire or select employees as well as evaluating employee performance.
- You will handle directorate budgeting actions to include travel and time-keeping.
- You will determine priorities with the Director of Fleet Operations (NAVIFOR-N3).
- You will serve as a senior member of the NAVIFOR Staff established to address a broad range of Information Warfare (IW) Type Commander (TYCOM) challenges.

**Conditions of Employment**:

- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.

**Qualifications**:

- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
- Leading the development and implementation of Information Warfare (IW) operations, policies, plans and assessing their effectiveness.
- Provides supervisory technical and administrative support to military, civilian, and contract personnel.

**Education**:
This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

**Additional information**:
All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
