**BREAD BAKER JOB DESCRIPTION**

2+ years of experience as bread baker in commercial bakery.

Scaling recipes correctly using metric units

Experience laminating doughs is a plus

Baking in a multi-deck oven as well as full rack convection ovens

English language communications skills

Ability to work in a team environment and work calmly and effectively under pressure

Ability to stand during entire shift, occasional exposure to hot and cold, lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.

Manage high-volume production of scratch-made artisan breads

Artisan sourdough/french bread

We are looking for bakers with experience in a commercial bakery, ideally experienced with the 12 steps of bread baking and lots of experience with spiral mixers, deck ovens, and Rondo sheeters. We work with the finest ingredients available to us and are privileged to bake with state-of-the-art bakery equipment.

Work third shift.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:
Maintain work spaces including stainless steel tables, equipment, dry storage shelves, walk-in refrigerators, freezer, and general sanitary condition of production and storage areas in a clean organized fashion.

Ensure all items are prepared according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other staff.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:
Reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, stoop, twist and flex arms, walk up and down stairs/inclines, sit, climb up/down ladders or stand.

Lift up to 50 pounds from ground level to waist level and carry a distance of up to 30 feet with/without assistance.

Maneuver carts or dollies and pallet jack.

Work in an environment which is regularly fast-paced and noisy, with temperatures ranging from the cold of a walk-in freezer to the high heat surrounding ovens and stoves.
