**What is this job?**

This position is responsible for auditing and compliance-related functions for EVERSTAND, ensuring all audit and compliance processes are properly followed, documented, and maintained regarding employee life cycle.

**What does the benefits package look like?**

- Conducts regular audits of HR employee folders, processes, policies, and systems to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identifies areas of non-compliance or potential risk and recommend corrective actions
- Provides training and guidance to HR staff and management on compliance-related topics
- Serves as a point of contact for internal and external audits related to HR compliance.
- Maintains accurate records of compliance activities, audit results, and risk assessments (share that information so that we know how we are doing)
- Visits various locations for audits as well as training sessions.
- Understands all HR/training regulatory requirements and ensures all records and practices are in compliance (i.e. Licensing, Medicaid, CARF, etc)
- Uploads electronic files into the appropriate HRIS
- Completes reports as requested by regulatory agencies.
- Updates and produces timely, weekly reports to Leadership team and federal partners.
- Ensures that employees and teams are in place to address compliance issues.
- Conducts EVERSTAND scheduled and unscheduled quarterly and yearly audits.
- Maintains and updates MSDE fingerprinting spreadsheet for Strawbridge.
- Manages and communicates notices for all required certifications and licensures on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

**What experience and education do I need?**
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years human resource/compliance/auditing experience.

**Preferred Education and Experience**:

- PHR and/or SHRM-CP
- Compliance Certification

**Other Job Requirements**
- Able to learn and effectively utilize different technology platforms.
- Excellent computer use knowledge with Microsoft Windows 10 and 365 Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proven effective time management, planning, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to keep an electronic calendar (Outlook).
- Ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner both written and orally.
- Must be computer literate with competence in spreadsheets, databases and other software utilized by agency.
