**Kitchen Designer position description**:
SheBuilds Kitchen Design & Remodeling is an in-house custom design and construction build services company in Wilsonville, OR. Our team specializes in kitchen and bathroom remodels. **Position Overview**

Required Experience:

- Previous experience in the interior design and kitchen remodeling industries
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Previous client facing consultation & sales experience
- Knowledge of creating kitchen designs in 20/20 design software
- Highly organized project management & interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple design and remodeling projects at once

**SCOPE OF Responsibilities; not limited to**:
**Duties**:

- Schedule & attend design consultations with potential clients in their homes
- Assess the feasibility of the project, design needs and specific client requests
- Accurately measure the space and note detailed footprint changes in the consult notes
- Work closely with the lead designer/GC to create estimates and project budgets
- Oversee design assistants and drafters in creating kitchen designs & plans using 2020 Design & written detailed scope of work
- Produce presentation packets & schedule design presentations with clients
- Present initial design and budget to the client at our showroom in Wilsonville, OR
- Convert and close design clients to project clients via signed remodeling contract
- Assist clients with all design element choices and selections (in person and online)
- Update all internal systems for project development and management.
- Coordinate & order project finish selections, materials & supplies
- Transport materials to project sites as needed
- Communicate with operations regarding project trade partners needed for scheduling
- Meet trade partners at project sites as needed
- Stay committed to an on-time and on-budget completion of all services
- Attend weekly design team meetings in person at the showroom
- Attend weekly full team project management meetings in person at the showroom
- Self-Motivated & ability to follow processes in the design-build process
- Detail oriented, organized and focused
- Creative, curious and innovative with artistic ability
- Active listener, professional and skillful communication, collaboration, interpersonal & problem solving skills
- Current driver's license with good driving record and reliable transportation

**Job Type**: Full-Time 40+ hours a week

Pay: DOE

Schedule: Day Shift - Monday-Friday and occasional Tuesday thru Saturday - Flexibiity to work from home 1 day per week.

Consultation & project locations are throughout the PDX Metro area. Our showroom is located in Wilsonville, OR just off I-5.

Pay: $68,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
