The anticipated salary range for this role is between $123,000.00 and $175,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

**Role Description**:
These efforts are occurring within the broader context of major strategic initiatives to extend our market leadership and build next-generation capabilities and products that are powered by our World Class datasets. In short, the Transformation team will lead fundamental organizational and operational changes while partnering with technology to build the next generation of data tools with modern technology.

**Role Objectives**:

- Building proven and collaborative relationships with team members.
- Leveraging diverse views to encourage innovation and helping develop and grow team members throughout the course of every engagement by providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
- Delivering significant business results that reflect strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiatives.
- Identifying and addressing client needs, building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships.
- Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, and status updates.
- Communicating effectively in written and oral formats to various situations and audiences.
- Managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative benchmarking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex data; and,

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- 8+ years of work experience, preferably in financial services operations or program / project management
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred
- Must be composed, detail oriented and organized
- Ability to multi-task across a large body of work
- Knowledge of financial markets and products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills
- Ability to work across teams and ability to influence
- Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and has the ability to execute in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
