Gateway Academy is seeking a dynamic and creative Multicultural Language Lab Instructor to join our dedicated team. As a Language Lab Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a love for languages and cultures among our students, who have a keen interest in global diversity.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach and facilitate language learning using Duo Lingo's diverse range of 22 languages, tailored to the unique learning styles and needs of Twice-Exceptional students with High Functioning Autism.
- Create engaging and interactive lessons that incorporate elements of culture, history, and societal norms from around the world, enriching students' understanding beyond mere language acquisition.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and encourages mutual respect among students.
- Provide individualized instruction and support to accommodate varying learning paces and preferences, ensuring all students can thrive academically and socially.
- Implement innovative teaching strategies, technologies, and resources to enhance language acquisition and cultural exploration.
- Assess student progress regularly through informal observation, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations, offering constructive feedback for growth.
- Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to address any concerns or challenges promptly and collaboratively.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices in language education, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) awareness, and multicultural competency.
- Embrace and embody the core values of Gateway Academy, including empathy, integrity, creativity, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification/license in Arizona or eligibility for reciprocity.
- Experience working with Twice-Exceptional students and/or individuals with High Functioning Autism strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in multiple languages and a passion for cultural diversity and global awareness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
