**Reports to: Machining Supervisor**

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and program high-quality tool paths for 5-axis CNC machines using Fusion 360 and/or GibbsCAM.
- Analyze drawings, blueprints, and design data to calculate correct part dimension for machines, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces while adhering to international standards.
- Maintain high levels of quality and production standards while optimizing machining processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC programs.
- Collaborate with the engineering and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency, solve issues related to the production process, and implement new products.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Train and mentor junior programmers and machinists in 5-axis CNC programming and operations.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest machining technologies and programming techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a 5-axis CNC Programmer with a strong portfolio of programmed parts.
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software, specifically Fusion 360, GibbsCAM, and / or MasterCAM.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, mechanics, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents like blueprints, GD&T, and operational manuals.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Certification in CNC programming is a plus.

**Experience**:

- CNC: 1 year (preferred)
- CNC programming: 1 year (preferred)
- CAM programming: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Hanover, PA 17331 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Hanover, PA 17331: Relocate before starting work (required)
