**Job Summary**

**YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS.**

As a Porter/Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our client's place of business. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors.

**Duties**
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies are low
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards
- Other duties as may come up

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in floor care, industrial cleaning, or commercial cleaning is preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, and vacuums
- Ability to work as part of a team or individually
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Valid driver license
- Pass a background check and drug screening
- Must be able to speak, understand and write in English
- Must be authorized to work in United States (we utilize E-Verify)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
