Private Caregiver

**Job Title: Private In-Home Caregiver**

**Hourly & Live-In Hours Available**

We are seeking attentive and trustworthy caregiver(s) to join our staff in providing excellent care to our client(s). The caregiver will plan and follow a daily care schedule with clients, modify care plans as prescribed by medical professionals, and report on any new conditions or needs that may arise.

To succeed as a caregiver you should be patient, empathetic, and have strong people skills. You should be observant and committed to making your client feel safe and comfortable.

**Duties**:

- Provide direct support and assistance to individuals in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer first aid and medication reminders as needed
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Drive clients to appointments or outings as required
- Lift and transfer clients safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of home care practices and techniques
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact and engage effectively with clients
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
