**Description**:

- Serve as Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Lead for Execution performing duties per Navy Modernization Program Management and Operations Manual ( NMP-MOM) H-1.5.7. As AIT lead you report directly to the AIT On Site Installation Coordinator (OSIC), execute contract requirements, and perform the following activities:

- Ensure successful execution of the installation as tasked.
- Ensure the AIT adheres to all aspects of TS9090-310 (Series) and requirements defined in applicable Memorandums of Agreement (MOAs), NAVSEA Standard Items (Sis), Work Specification Items and/or NSY Uniform Industrial Process Instruction (UIPI) and adhere to Liaison Action Requests (LARs) and change authorization processes in accordance with (IAW) NMP-MOM IAW SUBSECTION H-3.4.2.5 and SHAPM Trial Card disposition process.
- Ensure adherence to control and protection of unclassified and classified
- information IAW NMP-MOM SUBSECTION H-3.18.5.
- Attend AIT in-brief and scheduled out-briefs.
- Sign the Alteration Completion Record once all work has been satisfactorily completed.
- Abide by all training requirements and responsibilities of NMP-MOM Exhibit H-9.
- Provide final redlines to AIT OSIC for delivery to ship and Planning Yard (PY) NLT 30 days after the ship’s out-brief per NMP-MOM SUBSECTION 3-24.4.
- Be accountable for a Test and Inspection (T&I) Plan which meets the requirements of NAVSEA SI 009-04 (reference H(d)) and amplify that (I), (V) and
- (G) points are not all inclusive. Any other tests and inspections required by other
- applicable references will be included in the T&I Plan as well.
- As tasked, update the notional Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) and provide it to the AIT OSIC/AIT Manager.
- In cases where the AIT is unable to complete the installation within the availability, take the following actions:

- Inform the AIT OSIC as early in the process as possible.
- Completely describe in writing the extent of the unfinished work including
- valve numbers, piping, missing wiring, etc. This will include red-line drawings
- at a minimum.
- Completely describe in writing the impact of the missing equipment on capability or function if known.

**Required Skills and Experiences**:

- Submarine AIT experience as AIT Lead or as and AIT Work Integration Leader is highly desirable.
- Service on a submarine project team is highly desirable.
- Five (5) or more years of directly managing personnel
- Familiarity with work control and authorization, tagout, safety, SUBSAFE, 6010, 8010, and basic radiological control requirements and processes.
- Knowledge and experience of Maritime electrical systems and structural components, and professional standards Installing fiber optic, electrical and electronic parts, including hardware in housings or assemblies. Qualification in submarines is relevant to satisfying this requirement.
- Ability to lead high performing teams of various skill positions to include: Electricians, Engineering Technicians, Mechanics, Welders, Shipfitters, Subcontractors, and Laborers
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance
- Must be able to obtain access to Shipyard and Government installations
- Competent proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Office to develop and update schedules and cost requirements
- Familiar with NAVSEA Standard Items
- Travel is required
- Must be a U.S. citizen
