- Oversee the daily operations of the produce department, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels
- Ensure that all produce is fresh, properly displayed, and priced accurately
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and quality for produce
- Train and supervise produce department staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly
- Implement and enforce proper food safety and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the store

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a produce management role preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in basic math calculations for inventory management and pricing
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of produce quality standards and ability to identify fresh produce
- Multilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
