Grounds Laborer

Salary Range: $21-$27 Per Hour_

**Summary**: The Grounds Laborer is responsible for all grounds maintenance tasks related to the campus.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Grounds Maintenance
- Punctuality. Must be able to show up on time and work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Operating small equipment, such as commercial walk behind mowers, string trimmers, back blowers etc.
- Mowing of all turfgrass areas on campus
- Seasonal planting of flowers, shrubs, and trees.
- Prepare mulch beds with edge and mulch to planting beds.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in groundskeeping.
- Keep grounds, roads, and curbs clear of trash and debris at all times.

Snow Removal
- Mandatory Attendance for all mobilized winter weather events. Our ability to deliver detailed snow removal services is of high importance to the mission of our client.
- Snow Blower, Snow Plow, or Skid Loader experience

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- **5+ years of Landscaping and/or Grounds Maintenance experience.**:

- Must be motivated to work outdoors in changing conditions.
- Have physical strength, hand-eye coordination and endurance.
- Must also be able to concentrate on their tasks.
- The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential.
- High School Diploma or GED
