Dental Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic dental assistant to join our team. Our beautiful, modern office in South Elgin, IL hosts a wonderful patient population and a dentist dedicated to quality care. Our practice strives to create the ideal dental experience from the moment our patients walk through the door, therefore applicants must have strong communication skills and an outgoing personality. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**
- Welcome patients to the dental office
- Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort
- Set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the treatment room clean and well-stocked
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures

**Skills**
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Good computer skills
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Well-organized

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
