Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at St. Symphorosa School. We are a small Catholic School with a big vision to be the school of choice in the Midway area delivering academic excellence and forming disciples of Christ who love and serve. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and help them develop essential skills for their future.

**Duties**:

- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn
- Provide individualized attention and support to students to meet their unique needs and abilities
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive and engaging learning environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to plan and coordinate activities, events, and parent communication
- Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree
- Illinois PEL preferred

Pay: $36,175.00 - $42,000.00 per year
