Job Summary:
**Duties**:

- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and systems
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Manage the preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan
- Develop and manage the department budget, including forecasting expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all staff
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities that may impact operations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or facilities management
- Strong mechanical knowledge, including experience with electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
