- The Labor and Delivery unit at _**Inova Fair Oaks Hospital **_located in Fairfax, Virginia has recently undergone a beautiful renovation. Our unit consists of thirteen private labor and delivery rooms, an eight-bed triage/PACU area, and three operating rooms. The types of patients range from low risk deliveries to high-risk patients with pre-existing multisystem medical and obstetrical problems. The usual staffing assignment consists of 1 RN for 2 laboring patients and change to 1 nurse to 1 patient based on acuity and phase of labor. **Responsibilities**:

**Additional Requirements**:
- **Work schedule**: 3x12's, Night Shift (7p-7a)
- **Education**: BSN or ADN (_If ADN: must complete/obtain BSN within 24 months of start date_)
- **Experience**: Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. _Prefer 2+ years of recent/current Labor & Delivery RN experience _
- **Certification**: BLS from the American Heart Association & VA RN license
