**Team Member Responsibilities**
- AKA ambassador to area business and neighbors.
- Knowledge of means of transportation to and from property and local attractions (i.e. bus, subway, train, cab, walk, etc.).
- Escort residents to rooms and familiarize them with hotel services and amenities.
- Explain features of the room including operation of radio, telephone, television, in-room movie system, high-speed Internet, etc.
- Maintaining high standards of personal appearance as outlined by the AKA Image requirements including wearing the proper uniform attire at all times while on the property.
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all residents, managers and Team Members.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of Guest Service experience.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated strong guest service skills.
- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills.
- Demonstrated energetic, self-motivating and a “can do” positive attitude.
- Proficiency in English (written and oral).
- Must be able to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
