Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gymnastics Coach to join our team. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for providing instruction and guidance to gymnasts of all ages and skill levels.

As a Recreational Gymnastics Instructor experience with preschool-aged athletes is a huge plus, your duties would also include:
1. Teaching Gymnastics Fundamentals**: Develop lesson plans and activities to teach basic gymnastics skills suitable for preschool-aged children, focusing on balance, coordination, flexibility, and strength.

2. Creating a Safe Environment**: Ensure the safety of all participants by implementing appropriate spotting techniques, setting up and maintaining equipment properly, and enforcing safety rules and procedures.

3. Facilitating Skill Progression**: Guide students through progressive skill development, adapting techniques and drills to accommodate individual abilities and learning styles.

4. Providing Feedback and Encouragement**: Offer constructive feedback and positive reinforcement to help children improve their skills, build confidence, and foster a love for gymnastics.

5. Managing Class Dynamics**: Maintain control of the class, manage behavior effectively, and promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere where all children feel welcome and supported.

6. Communicating with Parents**: Keep parents informed about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, and address questions or feedback in a professional and timely manner.

7. Assisting with Special Events**: Participate in and help organize special events, such as themed classes, performances, or competitions, to showcase students' achievements and enhance their overall experience.

8. Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization**: Assist with cleaning and organizing the gym space, equipment, and props before and after classes to ensure a safe and inviting environment for all participants.

**Qualifications**:

- Sports coaching experience
- Teaching background
- Understanding of gymnastics
- Familiarity with preschool gymnastics
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge in Karate, Martial arts, Childcare, Physical education, Basketball, Cheerleading
- Ability to work in a health club environment

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
