Brains and Motion Education is in search of experienced summer camp Instructors for our Summer Camp programs. Brains and Motion is a leading provider of STEM, Arts and Sports for students ages 6 to 14. Our focus is on providing the next generation of leaders and innovators.
As a Structured Recess Instructor, you will:
- Assist in creating a safe and inclusive playground yard, organizing and playing games with 20+ students
- Coordinating the game of the day alongside other recess favorites
- Encourage safe, healthy play and positive conflict resolution through role modeling and active participation
- Actively engage a diverse range of students in respectful and inclusive healthy play
- Confidently delivery Physical Education lessons across multiple grade levels
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Must love to play games and lead activities with children and have the ability to model positive behavior
- Prior experience in a school setting as an instructor or teacher's aide (PE instruction or sports coaching experience preferred)
- Ability to work with students grades K-8
- Ability to play fun games with larger numbers of students in groups of 20+
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license or State ID
- Criminal background check required
- Available to start ASAP. Work schedule is Monday-Thursday between 7:30-8:30 and 11 am to 1pm PST. Program will run from June 17 to mid July.
