- This position is responsible for the analysis and review of accounts receivable/billing, some accounts payable, as well as the Security Deposit accounts and accounts receivable for our Assisted Living communities and their respective rehabilitation departments. Under the direction of the Finance Team, the Associate will work with the Billing vendor to ensure items are posted to bill accurately and to the month end reports. Will interact with the families of residents to ensure accuracy of billing and will balance cash posted and month end reporting. Works with general accounting principles and within the regulations set by the Department of Social Services, the Veterans Department and long term insurance companies. _
**Qualifications**
**_Qualifications - External_**
- _ Two or more years of billing experience_
- _ Strong computer/software skills (PeopleSoft and/or Matrix experience a plus)_
- _ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal_
- _ Detail-oriented problem solver who works well independently _
- _Extensive knowledge of GAAP _
- _Associates Degree_
