**Status/Hours per week**:
Non-Exempt / 40 hours per week

**Primary Function**:
Provide safe and accurate medications deliveries to the patients of the Pharmacy.

Participate in various community outreach initiatives

To perform this job effectively, a person must demonstrate competence in the performance of the following responsibilities. Such competence shall be assessed throughout the trial period and at regular intervals thereafter.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Pharmacy Delivery Driver**
- Safe operation of own vehicle while wearing a safety belt.
- Accurate and timely medications deliveries to patients.
- Verify patient’s identity by asking opened ended questions, such as what is your name, what is your date of birth, what is your phone number?
- Inquire on patient’s identifier/picture ID in order to verify patient’s identity, if necessary.
- Correct patient’s demographics based on verification.
- Collect patient’s signatures and IDs, as required by law.
- Keep medications secure at all times while in possession of them.
- Responsible for immediately reporting any incidents or errors.
- Responsible for accurately maintaining appropriate logs (mileage, prescription signature, delivery, etc.) and following the appropriate procedures and policies pertaining to each.
- Wear and maintain appropriate uniforms and properly display the UCC identification tag.
- Participate in the development and implementation of schedules, routes, and delivery plans.
- Communicate to Pharmacy staff and Pharmacy Director all concerns and problems encountered during delivery.
- Perform duties consistently in a safe and timely manner.
- Treat all UCC patients and co-workers in a respectful, sensitive and courteous manner.
- Participate in job related training.

**Pharmacy Outreach Coordinator**
- Act as a liaison between Pharmacy and community members.
- Outreaching potential patients/customers
- Support community events to assist citizens with their Prescription/medication needs
- Serve as the Pharmacy representative and countenance for the organization’s community purpose.
- Serve as a community representative for accessing UCC pharmacy services
- Participate in Fair Food distributions as needed
- Operate the mobile van, including performing regular safety checks during community outreach events
- Demonstrate knowledge of services offered and assist the team with logistics during community events when operating the van
- Manage minor paperwork mostly linked to the performance of safety checks
- Brainstorming potential partnerships or methods for engagement with the local community
- Maintaining a calendar for outreach events and working closely with community partners to plan and execute various outreach events.
- Attend meetings as requested or required.
- Performance of other related duties as required
