- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time
- Calculate and enter payroll deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to clients
- Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management or relevant departments
- Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 forms and tax filings
- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Reconcile checking and credit card accounts, pay client bills, record deposits, and payroll transactions in quickbooks. Prepare and analaze financial statements in Quickbooks. Quickbooks desktop and online knowledge are required. An associates degree in accounting is required. A background check is required.
