Remarketing Specialist

**Job description**

The Remarketing Specialist is responsible for maximizing net auction proceeds by ensuring the timely and efficient preparation and sale of repossessed vehicles. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparation and transmission of legal notices and other required documentation, coordination of vehicle transport and preparation for sale, and monitoring and documentation of vehicle sales. This is a hybrid remote role.

**What You're Doing**
- Maintains up to date documentation of vehicle location and ensures timely delivery of repossessed vehicles to auction.
- Requests, processes, and ships titles to auctions as necessary to ensure that all vehicles may be sold promptly upon expiration of the NOI.
- Requests quotes for keys, transport and repairs for repossessed vehicles, and coordinates completion of approved actions.
- Responsible for proper and timely documentation of vehicle values, minimum bids, and sale dates in the remarketing system.
- Responsible for proper and timely documentation of offers and sales of repossessed vehicles in the remarketing system.
- Coordinate and ensure proper documentation for all vehicle redemptions and releases.
- Responsible for the timely review and validation of all invoices related to remarketing activities. Work with vendors to correct invoices as necessary prior to submission for approval and payment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**What We're Looking For**
- A minimum of 2-5 years of servicing and remarketing experience within the auto finance industry, with a demonstrated commitment to providing quality customer service.
- Ability to effectively handle difficult customer issues.
- High school diploma is required.
- Exercise good judgment with demonstrated problem solving and strong decision-making skills.
- Focused, reliable, and a self-starter with strong critical-thinking skills.
- Above average drive, communication/negotiation skills, and a track record of success.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
