We are looking for a **Medicaid - Technical Writer at Cranston, RI.**

**Position: Medicaid - Technical Writer**

**Location: Cranston, RI.**

**Contract Term: 12 months**

**Hours / Week: 35**

**Responsibilities**
- Review of existing policy and technical documents.
- Incorporating policy changes into supportive documentation.
- Development of a policy and technical tool.
- Review and update data dictionaries regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture business rules and requirements to changes.
- Develop documentation for governance policies.
- Build, review and edit technical documents for clarity, consistency, and adherence to established standards.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions with multiple teams and individual team members to ensure proper understanding and utilization of technical documentation.
- Establish, integrate, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Medicaid, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), guidelines, and best practices.

This role will report to OHHS and DHS jointly to support the medical work.

**Preferred experience**
- Project Management
- Technical writer experience
- Experience developing policy documents
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with data and analytics concepts, tools, and methodologies.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $42.51 - $44.31 per hour

Experience level:

- 3 years

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:

- Cranston, RI 02920: Relocate before starting work (required)
