1. Experience
- Create a welcoming environment for all participants with special attention to new comers
- Act in a positive manner that motivates participants to improve
- Start on time and end on time
- Teach class to member, don't perform. Class should be fun
- Keep music in good taste and appropriate for genre
2. Safety
- Keep group exercise rooms clean and equipment is stored neatly at the end of class
- Volume control at appropriate level - measured
- Teach classes in a safe manner with modifications provided when appropriate
- Inform supervisor immediately of all equipment problems
3. Quality
- Educate within scope of knowledge
- Be prepared to teach class to format described in the group ex schedule
- Have music and microphone checked and ready for the beginning of class
- Find appropriate coverage for missed classes (no canceled classes) and be willing to cover when needed

**Qualifications**Experience Preferred/Desired**
- 6 months - 1 year actively teaching large groups

**Training Minimum Required**
- Active Group Fitness or personal training certification from an approved provider that will be relevant to the class being taught

**Licensure and/or Certifications Required**
- CPR within 3 months of hire
