**The K-Pak Machines operator applicant needs to have knowledge and experience in the following areas**:

- Be able to direct the workforce.
- Assemble machinery and set up room for daily production.
- Observe operation and speed of packing machine and makes adjustment when necessary.
- Clears jams and preforms basic trouble shooting.
- Ensure product is packaged properly with no product or moisture leaking out.
- Have keen attention to detail.
- Ensure weight of product is accurate.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, deposing of excess materials.
- Prepare all pre-operational paperwork and ensure HACCP and pre-op forms are completed before start-up.
- Perform clip checks and seal checks.
- Monitor chubs to ensure proper weight of products.
- Make sure that the correct numbers of boxes are produced to complete each out-going load.

**Working Conditions**:

- Physical demands of this position may include lifting up to 50lbs.
- Employee will typically work 45-50 hours per week M-F. Overtime pay will be issued for all hours over 40 per week.

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical background.
- One year of packing machine operator experience preferred.
- Sufficient written communication and reading skills.
- Ability to operate or to quickly learn packing equipment.
- Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English and Spanish preferred.

**Education Requirements**:

- Minimum High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Work Location: In person
