Preschool Aide

Looking for a preschool aide. We are known for our nurturing and dedicated staff. We support families and each other. Come join our warm and welcoming staff.

DEEC certification preferred but not required.

The individual must be dedicated to helping young children. Our staff uses positive language with children. The assistant must approach each child in a kind and nurturing way.
- Assist teachers at key times of day.
- Supports children and teachers
- Keep supplies organized.
- Help children become independent
- Maintains a good working relationship with other staff members
- Sanitize toys
- Assist in drop off and pick up time
- Keep library system in good order
- Stock classrooms with paper goods
- Help teachers switch out theme related materials
- Models using positive language and kindness
- Helps keep classrooms organized
- Helps supervise children

This is a part time position. The hours are 9:00-2:30 Monday/Wednesday and Thursday through June. We follow the Peabody Public School calendar.

Summer camp hours run July and August Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9:00-2:00

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 per week
