The Enterprise Data and Information Management Program (EDIM), Program Data Reporting Division (PDRD) at the California DHCS is seeking **multiple** highly motivated and experienced individuals to join our team as an Research Scientist III (RS III) within the Benefits and Eligibility Data Support Branch.

The RS III will plan, organize, and direct epidemiology/biostatistics or social/behavioral scientific research studies of highly developed scientific scope for the PDRD, Benefits and Eligibility Data Support Branch (BEDSB), Medicare and Women’s Health Data Section (MWHDS), Maternal and Women’s Health Reporting Unit (MDHRU). This will require ongoing scientific research and data analysis related to DHCS programs in accordance with DHCS' specifications and requirements. Specifically, the Research Scientist III works directly under the Research Scientist Supervisor I in the MDHRU to provide data and analytics and research support for Maternal and Women’s Health-related programs, including but not limited to Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (F-PACT) Program.

Working Conditions
- Telework is based on operational needs for employees who can perform their essential functions remotely and/or whose duties are conducive to teleworking per DHCS’ Telework Policy and in accordance with Government Code Sections 14200 - 14203 for employees residing in California. Should the incumbent need to report to an office, they will need to report to DHCS office location: 1700 K Street, Sacramento, CA.
