Dental Biller

**Job description**

**Duties**:

- Verify completeness and accuracy of patient information
- Collaborate with dental care providers to obtain missing or additional information
- Assign appropriate dental codes to the procedures and create, batch out and Submit PPO claims
- post insurance payments to patients accounts.
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Proficiency in Dental coding, Familiar with Dentrix software
- Strong understanding of Dental l billing processes and procedures
- Attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preauthorize Treatments when needed
- Verify patients insurance and their benefits ,including the history of any treatments
- collection calls for patient balances 60-90 plus days
- Mail statements and follow up with patients for payments

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
