**About the Role**

Due to growth at Sterling Industries, we have openings Saw Operators Monday through Friday on the 1st shift. The laser/saw operator will safely perform bandsaw cutting for a variety of different materials based on the company's needs.

**MAJOR DUTIES**:

- Operate equipment in a safe and timely manner.
- Assist with cleaning of equipment and organization.
- Handling materials
- Select proper setup and proper cutting programs with fixtures.
- Ad hoc requirements to support the Operations team
- Adhere to all safety rules and protocols.
- Attention to detail and the ability to interpret and read work orders is a must.
- Ability to multiple, divide, add, subtract.
- Previous Saw experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills
- High School Diploma
- Team Player
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Punctual and reliable
