We are actively hiring for a Commercial Insurance Billing Associate

**Your Role**:
This role's main responsibility is to support the Mobilitas Billing & Payments Team throughout the various stages of transaction support. This includes accurately collecting and processing data to create timely invoices and ensuring exceptional internal and external communication. The Billing Analyst will work within established guidelines to learn about property and casualty operations, billing and payment processes, policies, and procedures. They will collaborate with multiple Mobilitas teams and work directly with broker resources, as required. This role will report directly to the Mobilitas Billing Manager.

**Your work**:

- Perform key billing and payment activities, including drafting invoices based on monthly exposure data, assisting the broker payment process, and providing necessary billing support to Mobilitas customers.
- Assist Product Management, Underwriting, and Business Development in setting expectations for Mobilitas customers regarding the invoicing and payment processes.
- Utilize comprehensive knowledge of billing and analytics to investigate and correct escalated billing issues.
- Document existing policies, procedures, and processes, increasing knowledge of billing activities and deliverables. Maintain the appropriate tracking documents and operating procedures.
- Prioritize competing demands to achieve business objectives for own work.
- Protect the confidentiality of all secured information.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Required Experience, Education and Skills**
- 2+ years of experience supporting billing and invoice activities.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good technical PC skills; thorough knowledge of all applicable office machinery and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Communication and business writing skills.
- Strong attention and focus on detail.
- Knowledge of basic billing and accounting concepts.

- Knowledge of Commercial insurance and operations.
