Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to join our team.

As a Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our organization complies with all relevant state fire safety laws and regulations. Your role will involve monitoring and evaluating compliance processes, working with human resources to ensure corrective actions when necessary, and providing guidance to staff members on compliance-related matters.

**Duties**:

- Report and maintain up to date tag compliance with the proper fire marshals and fire departments.
- Maintain records of current and past inspections / deficiencies
- Tracking and scheduling maintenance for company fleet vehicles.
- Stay up to date with changes in regulations and state fire safety best practices
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related complaints or violations
- Prepare reports for management on compliance activities and findings
- Maintain documentation of compliance activities, including policies, procedures, and training records

**Skills**:

- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate with a wide variety of personalities
- Experience with Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent research and analytical skills

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
