**Position Summary**:The Drafter develops and maintains all construction documents for new and existing product for Harris Doyle Homes.

**Duties / Responsibilities**:

- Drafts/produces construction documents for new/existing product using AutoCAD/Revit techniques.
- Manages and maintains plan files. Makes revisions and updates construction drawings as needed. Keeps track of future revisions to be made.
- Manages and coordinates community specific responsibilities such as lot specific plans for plan review, permit, and construction (field sets).
- Coordinates preparation of engineering design and drawings, truss design and drawings, and field repairs.
- Produces marketing material for sales team.
- Attend staff and other meetings as necessary or when requested.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate degree or higher in Drafting/Design, Architecture or related discipline.
- Direct work experience Design/Construction or related field
- Experience with AutoCAD Revit or relative drafting software,
- Experience interpreting building codes and drafting standards.
- Ability to work on several projects and tasks on a daily basis.
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate information.

**Physical Demands**:

- Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing.

**Travel Requirements**:

- Minimal local travel as needed.
