Overview:
**This is a temporary full-time, office-based position**

The Elizabeth Hospice HR Analyst under the supervision of the HR Manager, focuses on HRIS data clean up and various reports and projects.

The Elizabeth Hospice is San Diego’s oldest non-profit hospice of 45 years. We are growing and looking for talented individuals to join our high performing team and support our mission. We serve all of San Diego county and south Riverside county with multiple hospice office locations.

Work Schedule: Temporary position; Full-Time, Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.

**Salary**: $25.00 hourly.

Work Location: In office; Escondido, CA

Travel: Occassional local travel between office locations possible.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the HR department with documenting and testing procedures and SOPs.
- Create and maintain reports for various HR items, including but not limited to leaves of absences, job accommodations, worker’s compensation claims and light duty assignments and other areas as needed.
- Provide general administrative support for benefits and HRIS-related projects.
- Assist with updating HR sections of SharePoint site with current forms, policies, and announcements.
- Create and maintain various HR reports, such as turnover, time to fill, cost-per-hire, and various HR dashboards.
- Assists HR team with various projects as needed.

Qualifications:

- One to three years of HR experience required.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality in all employment matters.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with employees, leadership, facility sub-contracted service providers, the public, participants and stakeholders, and volunteers.
- Prio experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel required.
- Must demonstrate a working knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
- Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization and multi-taking skills required.
- Proficiency in all MS Office programs required.
- Knowledge of federal, state and local employment-related regulations required.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills required.
- Strong planning, organization and collaboration skills required.
- Current California Driver’s License
- Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate delays in a timely manner to those impacted.
