**Job Title**: Maintenance and Facilities Technician

Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain school grounds, including the interior and exterior of buildings, ensuring all areas are safe, clean, and in good working order.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks, including drywall, basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Clean and sanitize class meeting areas, offices, break rooms, restrooms, and other indoor areas.
- Organize materials, remove trash and packaging materials, and relocate items as needed.
- Manage storage items, ensuring proper storage or removal as necessary.
- Assist in the installation and repair of fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
- Keep property grounds well-maintained, including landscaping and outdoor areas.
- Follow directives from the Business Manager and School Principal to complete delegated tasks efficiently.

Position Requirements:

- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance skills.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC. HVAC experience is a plus but not required.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, good collaboration, and excellent communication skills.
- Physical Ability: Capable of working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, and able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation with the ability to frequently travel between school locations. Must hold a current CA Driver’s License in good standing and have an insured vehicle.
- Background Check: Clear background check with fingerprinting required for working in an educational environment.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Energetic, driven, smart, hard-working, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and functional educational environment.
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks efficiently from the Business Manager and School Principal.

Pay Range:
60,000.00 - 70,000.00/yr

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
