**Pay Rate**: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour

**Education**: Master’s in a mental health-related field, such as Psychology, Social Work and Counseling required

**Licensure**: Licensed, licensed-eligible or registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or Waivered Psychologist.

**As a Clinician I - Triage Coordinator, you will**:

- Responsible for screening and triage for urgent walk-in clients.
- Determine service eligibility and assesses safety concerns.
- Coordinates and liaisons with the clinical and prescriber staff.
- Conducting behavioral health assessment; may determine diagnosis and/or a change in diagnosis as needed.
- Providing care coordination at screening if needed.
- Providing crisis intervention as needed.
- Assist in internal tracking of walk-ins, collateral, and referrals from other programs.

**Additional Qualifications and Skills**
- Experience working with individuals who have a severe and persistent mental illness, as well as co-occurring disorders
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
- Those with experience in a walk-in outpatient-based mental health program encouraged to apply
- Must utilize concurrent documentation practices
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
- Reliable transportation is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position. A valid California driver’s license in good standing and proof of insurance are required for employees driving personal vehicles on company business.
- Able to pass criminal/background clearance

The Adult Outpatient programs (AOP) provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, peer support and older adult outreach. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders.

Jane Westin Center is a full-time urgent psychiatric walk-in center that provides screening, triage, clinical and psychiatric assessment, medication support, and discharge planning.

All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness.
