Food Service Worker

Duties will include delivering and collecting food trays, taking patient orders electronically, organizing meal carts, pouring beverages, stocking inventory, collecting used trays, and maintaining a clean and clean environment.

**Responsibilities**
- **Food Tray Delivery and Pickup**:Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up food trays to and from patient rooms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in meal distribution.
- **Tablet-Based Order Taking**:Utilize electronic tablets to take patient meal orders, ensuring clear communication and accurate recording of dietary preferences and restrictions.
- **Cart Management**:Assist in the breakdown and organization of meal carts, ensuring they are adequately stocked and prepared for meal service.
- **Beverage Service**:Pour and serve beverages, including juice, water, and other prescribed liquids, to patients in a hygienic and courteous manner.
- **Stocking and Inventory Control**:Regularly check and restock food and beverage supplies in storage areas and kitchenettes, maintaining adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs.
- **Tray Collection**:Collect used trays and dishes from patient rooms promptly, following infection control and sanitation guidelines.
- **Dishwashing**:Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- **Cleaning and Sanitization**:Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the department.
