**Description**:
Tandem Bagel Company is looking for a part time Bakery Assistant at our Hadley location. Salary ranges from $16.50-18.50 per hour, depending on experience. Responsibilities include light prep, mixing muffins, scones, and other breakfast pastries, scooping cookies, assisting bakers in making bagels, packaging pastries, organizing and storing inventory, and end of day cleaning/closing of the bakery. The shift begins at 7 AM, 3 days per week (including Fridays and Saturdays), for 20-25 hours per week.
- have one year of bakery experience or relevant culinary school program
- be highly reliable and punctual
- work efficiently and in an organized manner
- be able to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for 8-10 hours per day
- have a solid working knowledge of food and kitchen safety/sanitation
- have good chemistry with our bakery team
