**Position: Unarmed Security Guard**

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00

**Shifts**: 2nd

3pm-11:30pm

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Advance Nursing Services is a staffing agency for Serenity Recuperative Care and Holliday’s Helping Hands which are organizations that care for homeless families and individuals - We support the cause and fight to end homelessness Our jobs focus on providing interim housing, nourishing meals, and safe locations to empower our clients to find their “Journey to Home.”

**Responsibilities**
- Provide service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
- Proactively de-escalate client issues, teaching clients how to calmly resolve differences and achieve goals
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site
- Other duties as assigned

**Must Haves**:

- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- **State ID**:

- **Valid security guard card**:

- **Employment Physical & TB Test**:

- **Food Handler Certification**:

- **CPR**

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
