**Job Summary**:
**Major Responsibilities**
- Ensures excellent customer service, superb public relations, and makes all guests feel comfortable and welcome at all times.
- Spends approximately 50% of the time away from the property to solicit new business and maintain existing accounts. Travels locally to conduct outside sales calls, promote the hotel, and review competition reader boards to develop leads.
- Manages and maintains business relationships with existing accounts to achieve guest satisfaction; ensures external and internal clients are satisfied with our products and services.
- Makes him/herself readily available to meet with all on-site contacts the day of the event a majority of the time to ensure each event is meeting the customer’s needs.
- Meets or exceeds booking goals, and overnight room revenue projections with a secondary emphasis on catering revenues.
- Prepares proposals for and correspondence to customers.
- Prepares group rooms contracts and communicates effectively with the Front Desk Staff regarding all bookings.
- Maintains excellent communication with General Manager to keep them abreast of sales call activity.
- Participates in sales meetings, management staff meetings, RMH meetings, training, and other meetings as assigned.
- Conducts thorough, effective, and professional site inspections.
- Responds to all guest reviews in accordance with IHG standards in a professional and timely manner.
- Contributes to the marketing strategy by leveraging social media to identify and acquire customers.
- Prepares End of Month Reports accurately and timely.
- Has a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint and complete knowledge and use of the automated sales program used for all aspects of the selling process.
- Takes measures to ensure that the client is aware of all available options and all details are addressed per Keystone Hospitality, LLC Standard Operating Procedures and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Has a growing and up-to-date knowledge/awareness of all developments, trends, and methods in the industry.
- Participates on a monthly basis, at least, in community organizations and attends/participates in community events after regular business hours to promote the property and company.
- Fulfills IHG training/certification requirements which require limited travel and possible overnight stays.
- Works a rotating schedule to cover the Sales Office for approximately one weekend per month.
- Participates in on-going monthly trainings and is required to participate in trainings such as annual alcohol training, annual sanitation training and monthly safety trainings.
- Upholds confidentiality and privacy of all company, employee and vendor data, which if disclosed, may have significant internal or external effect.

**Education & Training Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree (Hotel & Restaurant Management, Sales & Marketing or Business Administration) preferred.

**Experience**:

- 2-4 years sales experience is preferred (preferably in the hospitality industry).
- Must hold current and valid Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearances.
- Must hold current and valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Must hold current and valid driver’s license free from major violations.
- Must successfully pass all relevant/required background screenings which may include, but not limited to, credit, criminal, driving, and drug screening.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
