We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled **Phlebotomist **to join the team in **Jamaica, NY.**

**Duties**:

- Performing the procedure to collect blood samples from patients, which involves inserting a needle into a vein, usually in the arm.
- Verifying the patient's identity and ensuring the correct patient information is associated with the blood sample to prevent mix-ups or errors.
- Assembling and sterilizing the necessary equipment, including needles, blood collection tubes, and tourniquets.
- Evaluating the patient's veins to determine the most suitable location for venipuncture, often considering factors like vein size, health, and accessibility.

**Job Types**: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
