Cma/phlebotomist

Responsibilities:

- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
- Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of blood samples
- Follow proper infection control and safety protocols during phlebotomy procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort during blood collection
- Assist with other clinical tasks as needed, such as taking vital signs or administering medications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate specimen collection and timely delivery to the laboratory
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in medical administrative support tasks, such as scheduling appointments or updating patient records
