**Gwynedd Healthcare and Rehabilitation **a long-term care facility in Lansdale PA is seeking a full time **RN Educator **to join its compassionate team.

**Qualifications**:

- 1 year of educator experience in a skilled nursing environment.
- Must possess skills in leadership and communication.
- Able to identify opportunities for improvement through analysis of data, observation of operations, and consultation with leadership and staff.
- Active RN license in PA.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Plan, organize, develop, and direct all in-service educational programs throughout the facility in accordance with the federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
- Facilitate new employee onboarding and the orientation process.
- Provide nursing staff with clinical and educational support and guidance.
- Coordinate all educational activities in the facility.
- Focus on Quality Improvement and identify areas of educational needs.
- Monitor staff completion of required education and track compliance rates
- Create and implement education programs in response to needs identified through QAPI, rounding, center quality measures, or other means.
- Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain the IPCP to ensure the quality of patient care as it relates to the investigation, control and prevention of infections and communicable diseases within the nursing center.
- Maintain surveillance and tracking of all infections and exposures in the facility.
- Assist with employee health requirements.
